The youth exchange program “ResConnect – Connecting Youth for Circular Futures” was successfully implemented by the KEAN organization – Cell for Alternative Youth Pursuits, within the framework of Key Action 1 (KA1) of the Erasmus+ Youth program, with co-funding from the European Union and support from INEDIVIM.
The aim of the program was to raise awareness and motivate young people around the circular economy and sustainable development, while strengthening their skills of active participation, creativity, and ecological responsibility.
Thirty young people aged 18–30 from six countries (Greece, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Portugal, Bulgaria, and Romania) participated in the program, collaborating in a series of interactive and experiential non-formal learning activities.
The ResConnect program was a meaningful educational experience for all participants, both individually and collectively.
The young people acquired valuable tools to act as agents of change and put the principles of the circular economy into practice.
The cohesion, active participation, enthusiasm, and connection of the young people were key factors in the program’s success.
